I live in a house with three other young ladies. The other day my roommates, "Sara" and "Bethany", had a confrontation. Sara accused Bethany of talking bad about her and started yelling and screaming things like "you black piece of s**t" and "this is why I can't stand you black b*****s". Bethany did not say anything to her and just let her go on her rampage. Later that night we had a house meeting. I and my other two roommates told Sara we thought her comments were vicious and disgusting. You know what she said? She goes into this whole thing about how many black, Hiapanic, and Asian (I am Chinese-German and my other roommate is Mexican-American) friends she has, and how nuch she hates all the racist people from her old neighborhood in Ohio. Yet she offers up no apology, explaination, or resolution to the situation. So my question is: was she just upset or is she a really a closet racist? What do you think? Only serious answers please. Thanks you guys.

She is definetly a racist. She could have called the girl as many bitches and pieces of **** as she wanted to, but she decided to make it a racial thing, therefore making her a racist. Not only that, but most racist do have friends of other races because it makes them appear as if they aren't. Trust me, she is a exposed racist.

Anything you race as weapon, you are a racists. If Sara would have called her "you piece of s**t", or "I can't stand you b****h". I would not called her racist. But she had to add black and use plurals. It really a lack of intelligent in a confrontation, that she cannot used any other words then attacking someone race or ethnicity.

Anger usually makes a person lash out with how they really feel. I think it sad, but so often it is in the up-bringing. My father was a racist...so was my brother...but somehow, I managed to escape the cycle. I like all people until they personally give me a reason not to. I've dated women based on their personality without concern for the ethnic background. Isn't the inside that matters after all.

People when put in certain situations try to mask how they feel out of survival, which seems to be what your room mate was doing...but her anger on that ocassion woke up the sleeping giant called hate.... so sad so sad.
