Sure everybody does it differently and not everyone knows how to do it right. Well...lets see....first off it is necessary to have something like a sponge or wash rag and of course soap (prefferably that is normal ph ballance so it dont kil too much of a good bacteria so a bad one can develop). Then it is important that everything get washed. I know it is kind of weird to understand but i will give you an example. It reffers to men that are not circumsized too. Just because we have all these layers...big labia, small labia and rest of the goodies that means a lot of people forget to thurely wash in between those areas. Its a like a dog breed sharpey....they are known to have bacteria and skin deseases becuase they have these wrinkles that dont get spread apart and cleaned. Same process here......also that is a reason why men circumsize, so the area behind a skin that cover his uterus and tip is not covering also too much bacteria. Pretty simple. Oh and of course when you wash yourself down there its important not to mess with two things at once.....if you know what i mean....that is a reason when after using a bathroom you wipe yourself from the front to the rear....;) Hope it was helpful and not too graphic.

Yes it is true everybody does it differently but if you are asking because you are getting yeast infections that could be caused by several different things. Like for example wearing your pants to tight. You should ask an advise nurse they can be very helpful.

I just use my regular body wash and my hand, lather up really carefully within and around the labia (so I don't get soap inside my vagina), and rinse really well. I get really itchy all over, and tend to get yeast infections if I use bar soap, so I stick with a really simple head-to-toe baby wash.

There is nothing wrong and everything right with using the proper names of body part.

Your vagina is a self-cleaning organ. Your vulva can be washed very simply and safely with plain water. If you have a hand-held shower head, you can mutli-task with this one - use it to clean and to masturbate. all at once.

Or, if you take baths instead of showers, bath in plain water and you're be cleaning your vulva.
