Someone I am very good friends with insists that she would never sleep with a man, but she likes the attention from straight guys. When I say attention, I mean when they compliment her, fllirting with them a little, and she likes seeing them pleasure themselves. Believe me, she is head over heels in love with women. I knew her back when she kissed a guy a few years ago and she said she felt nothing. I believe her when she says men are attractive, but she says the thought of being with a man in that way is a turn off. So is she a little bi, or gay?

I didn't mean it to sound bad, I love her as more than a friend actually, and I myself am gay. I never questioned what or how she is, I never really thought about it until now.

I def think your friend is a lesbian! You can find males attractive, but still not want to be with them, men can be attractive, but you just don't have that sexual attraction from them. I mean, getting compliments from anymore is flattering, so everyone likes it, and being flirted with is just a reminder to some people that they really are attractive, it's a good feeling to have, but that doesn't mean you have to be interested in men... I'm not! I'm not too sure why she likes to see them pleasure themselves, maybe she's just curious as to how they get pleasure, or how it really works lol. Lot's of lesbians watch porn, doesn't mean their into males, it's normal, but I think she's just a lesbian... :)

I think that it can be deceptive to think of sexuality in terms of black and white definitions of gay, bi, and straight. Research suggests that human sexuality is more of a continuum than anything else, with 100% straight and 100% gay at the far ends of the spectrum. Your friend is probably what would be considered a lesbian, in that she isn't sexually interested in men. But, she's just over enough on the spectrum that she can still appreciate attractive men and their attention, without actually being interested in them. Also, if you're secure in your sexuality, it feels good to get attention from people of any gender, regardless of whether you're interested in them or not. As long as the attention isn't disrespectful, it makes YOU feel attractive, and who's going to complain about that?

It depends....she is most likely bisexual. If she like attention from men and she find them attractive even though she felt nothing kissing this one particular guy who possibly didnt know how to kiss at all, she can count as someone who is definitely bi. Now lesbians dont really flirt with men. They can be nice to them and have guy friends just like gay men have the most beautiful female friends but never would flirt with them. I mean just think of it like that a gay guy....str8 up gay guy flirting with a chick. I never heared of that. So I say definitely bisexual. And if she may not even been with a guy before then she eventualy will because it takes that one smoking hot man to get to her and its on!

She could be gay but just curious. I'm completely straight but I'm still curious about what it would be like with a woman plus I can appreciate when a woman is attractive. Maybe its the same thing. Or maybe she just loves the attention from both sexes. My lesbian friend loves it when men come onto her- its flattering.

Your friend could be either. Its hard to say. She kissed a guy and felt nothing.... havent we all. some guys we have feelings for and others...nothing. And I'm straight but I can think girls are attractive. If she says she only likes women...then just be supportive and believe her.

She is les if she wont sleep with them but just likes the attention. Liking the attention is just a self confidence thing.

She probably likes them but doesn't like the idea of being with them. Some girls feel that way and I think it's normal. She will probably want to be with guys as she gets older. But if she likes other girls she should admit it and you should still be her friend no matter what.

sounds gay to me. That is just like I am straight if a woman compliments me, I am thankful. But I really don't want them to flirt with me. But my opinion, sounds gay
