I saw this in The Dallas Morning News a while back: Over the holidays, volunteers were sending care packages to troops overseas. They were looking for donations of board games, CDs, DVDs, nonperishable food, sports equipment and personal care items. The number was 214-563-4156.

The Military no longer allows anonymous packages to be sent to any soldier. In the past, you could address a pkg to "Any Service Person" and it would be delivered. If you wish to send a package, go to www.anysoldier.com
there you will find names and service branches of military personnel you can send packages to.
