I enjoyed it but Silence Of The Lambs is much better! and its the sequel! Red Dragon is the prequel!

Yes. It was the weakest of the already released 4 movies. 'Hannibal' was NOT a prequel. It had Agent Starling in it, whom he met in 'Silence' BEFORE 'Hannibal'. 'Red Dragon' (movie # 4) was the prequel and much much better than 'Hannibal' (the 3rd movie). 'Red Dragon' was a 'retelling' of the first movie 'Mindhunter' but was also interweaved with other timelines of the Hannibal legacy. This summer movie #5 comes out, 'Hannibal Rising' which will be about Lector's childhood. Three different actors will play Hannibal Lector, up until the movie ends when he is only 27. Anthony Hopkins will not appear in the movie but will be the Narrarator telling the story. It looks to be really good. Fingers crossed ;-)

Yes. It's the prequel to Silence Of The Lambs, and it's not very good.
Anthony Hopkins and Julianne Moore are hamming it.

I saw the previews. I am not a Silence of the Lambs fan so I probably won't see it.

It was no Silence of the Lambs. Read the book it's better.

There's two - the one with Anthony Hopkins about Lecter, it's ok, nothing brilliant
Then there's the one with Oliver Reed about the elephant, it rocks

Haven't watched it,but I've seen previews and trailors,so it seems really good.
