I know this is crazy but I found this recipe for chicken that is supposed to help your guy think about getting married & possibly propose (I just wanna try it for fun) First, what is a giblet (is that like all the gross stuff inside)? 2, which side is the breast on (there's a pic on the webpage so just use that for explanation) 3, should I do this before Valentine's day (we'll go out to dinner that night) so he'll get a lot of nice sweet stuff all in a few days or should I wait til afterwards? (our anniversary is Feb 26 maybe then?) Also, I realize this isn't a magic spell, but I'm very picky about my chicken and slightly allergic to lemon juice (nothing too horrible) and he would LOVE this recipe so he would know that I sacrificed a little to do this for him and at least be grateful if nothing else.

PS- I'm not a horrible cook I promise! I just don't cook chicken so I have no idea what to do with it. We've been together 3 years, I know this isn't going to make him propose but I don't wanna drop actual hints b/c I'm not into that so I thought I'd just do this for fun!

I DO COOK! Like I said in the question, I am very picky about all chicken. It's all I can do to eat a chicken strip, believe it or not there are actually recipes that do not involve chicken!

The picture shows the chicken breast up. Sounds so romantic...have fun. oh, btw, giblets are the things inside the chicken. Check both openings. They are used for gravies, etc. I think it'd be a good anniversary dinner.

Maybe he hasnt proposed becasuse you arent all that domestic, yes find a way to cook this chicken, but second a man wants a woman who can take care of him, who csn go to work, do the laundry , make sure there's beer in the fridge, put dinner on the table, fecth him water in the middle of the night, roll over when he wants you to make love to him... these are the types of woman that guys marry ....sorry but when i heard you have been togther thre years and dont know how to cook chicken i was slightly horrified, when i first met my husband i only knew how to make ramen, and now i am a fantastic cook, from mexican to american food to breakfast lunch and dinner... because thats what men want and i want to make him happy ... so i am just giving you a heads up, the way to a mans heart is through his stomach ( be it brownies cookies, homemade half pounds burgers or excellent steaks)

ps if your gonna make potatoes boil them and mash them yourself with milk and butter Dry Flakes are Not Acceptable.... you can do this with sweet potatoes as well!!

To think that you actually are entertaining the thought of this "love recipe" actually working actually scares me a bit! Count on having what sounds like could be a good and tasty dinner...yet for true love...count on that happening naturally whether it be your current guy or not.

All it is is lemon chicken. I've made it several times...I hate lemon chicken. (thank goodness I don't want to become engaged huh? ) Or maybe thank goodness it didn't work the last time I made it...
