I'm such a klutz! I had an oil lamp on my table and was distracted when distractedly I tossed my purse (made from some kind of washable waterproff fabric - kind of like "raincoat materiel") on the table & shoved my coat into the chair. Hence, the lamp turned over & dripped, possibly all night.

I've washed & dryed it twice & it still reeks! Is there anyone who knows something I can wash it in - like you do tomatoe juice for a skunk smell on pets? Or can I/do I have to wait it out?

Im a professional carpet cleaner and there is a product called hydrocide which kills odors at the source. It works for skunk, fox urine (not that i have ever run across fox urine but it clams it does). Not sure where you are from but try www.interlinksuppy.com and see if there is a store near you and if they will sell it to a non professional if not call a carpet cleaning company and see if they have it or can get you a gallon of it.
