Queen Hatshepsut. She was a powerful leader that had a very long and prosperous rule over Egypt. I love that fact that she was loved and powerful and yes... she was a woman!

I personally think that King Tut is overrated. He is famous and has been immortalized. The truth is that if he hadn't have died so suddenly he would have never been so important to us. His sudden death caused his people to create a small tomb in a small amount of time. Since no one expected him to be in such a small tomb... the grave robbers never found him. This is why he is the most significant find... it wasn't robbed. He was only a kid and wasn't even documented in many Egyptian writings of their pharaohs. He was also the son of the Pharaoh Akanaten which created a monotheistic religion in Egypt and pissed alot of people off.

Ahknaten - one of the first leaders to embrace monotheism. He was so radical his name was nearly expunged from history. He didn't have a significant impact on the history of Egypt - after his death, things pretty much reverted back to the way they were - but, like cro-magnon man, the "what ifs" are fascinating.

KING TUT WAS THE COOLEST ONE AROUND
BUILT THE PYRIAMID AND BUILT A TOWN
HE CHASED THE HITTIES OUTTA TOWN
THEN HE CHASED OUT THE HEBREWS
WITHOUT LIFTING HIS HAND.
KING TUT, HE IS THE MAN
KING TUT WHEN THEY SAW
HIM COMING, EVERYBODY RAN!
KING TUT, HES THE MAN.
