Sonic insect repeller. Find it at your local home and garden center in the section with insecticides. Works well. You may need 2 or three to cover all the area of your house.

I do hope that you are not against the idea of buying any kind of alcohol. Get a sweet wine, pour some into a dish with fairly steep sides. About a half inch in a dish 3 or 4 inches in diameter will do. The bugs will smell it, come to drink, get plastered, fall in and drown. You are fighting a difficult problem but it is one that you can win. It will have to be redone but you are fighting their ability to reproduce. The problem with insecticides is that the bugs become immune to it. Like it or not, booze gets them every time, and there is no resistance to death.

Try sprinkling borax is all of the locations they've been spotted. Concentrate on the corners and all nooks and crannies. Hope you're putting all of your food in air-tight containers!! And don't forget to rinse all dishes with HOT water before you use them to eat from, unless you want to go all-out and re-wash them each time they're used. I agree with the brutal pull-the-legs-off approach, but bombing once or twice will help even more. Check your labels on bombs, some require 4 hours to work, and others only need 2 hours.

1) Catch a big one (gross but needed)
2) Pull its legs off and let it dance on the floor.
3) Repeat

The scent hormones they use to communicate danger will fill the room and hover for days.

I am aware this is gross but nothing works better alongside Raid 60 day killer. :)

cockroaches are tough. The best thing will be to get help from exterminator. It will cost $50 for one time if you don't go to big companies. If your in San Jose, Ca, I can give you a contact person who do it for only 50.
