Ah, the memories.
A. Know your stuff.
B. Let it roll. Some attendings are great, some suck. Either way there is a great deal to learn from them. From the good ones, learn how to be a good doctor, a good teacher, how to listen to patients. From the bad ones, you learn the "how not to's" and you learn patience.... being a doctor is very frustrating. As a student and resident sometimes it's the attending. When you have all the responsibility of the patients life on your shoulders, the time that was difficult because of the scrutiny of an overbearing attending physician seems negligible.

Can you clarify this, please? That is, are you a patient or are you a medical student? Or a nurse or other specialist? 'Cos it's not going to be possible for anyone to offer an answer otherwise, I think.
