I have a copy of The Scourge of the Swastika that is linen bound, and indicates that it is the 11th Edition from 1955. Trying to find out if it may be worth anything. Just not sure how to go about it.

This is a really cool company and they should be able to help out:

http://www.baumanrarebooks.com/

Their phone number is 1/800-99-BAUMAN. If that's just for the catalog try their main number at 212/751-0011; I'm sure someone at that line will be able to help.

There are a number of WWII buffs out there so the book might have some value because of its age and what sounds like excellent condition.

Just from some contacts of mine I'd guess in the right market (keying on targeted collectors) you could fetch about $120 --200. But that is a VERY rough guess. I'm not much on WWII literature. Most of my collection is conservation and environmental writing.

Good luck, let me know how things work out. --Andy

11th editions usually aren't worth very much. Search online for antiquarian appraisals. I have found a few that will give you a rough estimate that you can kinda keep in mind. Also ebay is not bad. If you can't find the exact thing you have, you can search for other books by the same company, year, author, etc etc.

Thank you, Drive thru.
