I have a dog. his favorite dog food is Kibble's and Bit's, but I usually get him Purina because his stomach doesn't exactly agree with the Kibbles and Bits....He get's a lot of people food except for chocolate, 'cause that's harmful to him. Whenever I have food left over on my plate after dinner or lunch, I give it to him, so he can indulge a little. I used to make him oatmeal every morning for breakfast, but he got a little fat, so I stopped and he went on a slight diet. He eat's soups sometimes when I have some. They're home made so I know that it doesn't have a lot of sodium like Campbells or those other store brought ones...Hope that answered yuor question.

My 5 cats are all ga-ga over Purina One Natural Blends. I don't know what it is but the Iams downstairs takes about a week for them to eat while the Purina One takes about 5 minutes.

It all depends on the kind of pet you have. But remember Table food is not a good thing for any pet.

our cat will eat any old thing, she doesn't much care.
Our dogs turn their noses up at anything except Ol Roy or Mainstay. (Unless it's whatever we are having for dinner. Then they will eat turnips, brussel sprouts, asparagus, corn on the cob, you name it.)
