You can find lye in any hardware store, any soap making supply house, and pretty much any chemical dealer.

Even walmart carries lye aka sodium hydroxide in my area.

@ your local chemical laboratory. Go in there and demand a bottle (glass) of concentrated sodium hydroxide. If they dont give it to you right away, pull that jar of anthrax from under that towel on top of your head - they should give it up more readily afterwards.

Concentrated hydrochloric or sulfuric acid will also do a good job on your skin.

Also, you can ask for concentrated phosphoric acid. It's so strong it burns (etches) glass on contact! woot!

NaOH is lye . . . it is Draino. Look at the supermarket.
