I'm planning on getting a new mp3 player and I'm stuck between an iPod Video or a Zune, which one should I get? Right now I'm looking for in it good sound quality, good video quality, and over all features.
So which one should I get?

The Zune.

My brother has an iPod and when I hold it, it feels like a toy and if I'm not careful I'll break it.

And I just don't get the iPod fanboys' main complaint that the Zune is heavier than an iPod "x". So what? It's not like it's as heavy as a brick or a bowling ball.

I got a black Zune and I have to say it's better than my old black ipod. Lots of ipod users will only think about bad stuff of the zune, but they probaly haven't even tried it yet. Here are some things it has over the ipod:
1.bigger screen
2.scratch-resistant, durable
3.feels nice in the palm of your hand, really
4.has a nice UI design (way better than ipod)
5.has wi-fi feature so you can send songs & pics to other Zunes
6.has built-in FM tuner
7.you can change the background pic for the whole menu system
8.Zune software has a subscription feature so you can download a lot for 1 price
9.can sync with the Xbox 360
10.you can view videos and some pics in landscape mode (on it’s side) so you just turn it on it’s left side (makes it great for watching videos)
11.you can get 14 day free-trial for Zune Marketplace
12.is something new and has latest technology
Go to Best Buy and try it out on your own. You can get a close look at it, and you might like it. Good luck!

I would get an iPod. The Zune has some cool features, but the wifi isn't that great because shared songs can only be listened to 3 times or kept for three days. Also, itunes has a better variety of music and videos than the Zune Marketplace. Hope this helps.

Zune is so much better than the ipod.
If u are watching a video it is so much bigger. The zune has 100 hours of video or7,500 songs+ 25,000 pictures. the battery lasts 4 hours watcthing a video on the zune. it lasts 30 min on the ipod. Zune is way better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you like the wheel function and iTunes (which does have alot of songs more than any other store) then get an iPod video 20 gigabyte. If you dont like the wheel and you want to use mutliple sites for songs and vids get the Zune. Both are equal on sound and vid quality.

If you are lookin for sound quality, the Zune isnt for you neither is the ipod video; it's the Creative Zen Vision M, but as long as you dont get the "Zune", My friend and I always bag on the Zune cause of the size. But yea if you are a little bit of an audiophile get the Creative, but if you want slim and name get the Apple Ipod.

Ipod has been the leader of mp3 players for years, but I think that finally it has met a worthy adversary, the Zune. It is awesome and it has the best overall features.

ipods suck. they freeze all the time. and you dont want that to happen in the middle of a good video =[ so go for the zune. its a little bigger. but its worth it

iPod, no question. Apple doesn't cripple their hardware NEARLY as much.

If you want to enter the dystopian nightmare future of DRM, buy a Zune.
