It's unfair for your family to move you when you're growing roots in your hometown. Sounds like a frivolous reason, too, if you can move back in a year. State your case to your parents, don't flinch, don't mince words. But ultimately, you have no power in the matter. I've been in your shoes, my parents asked me if I minded moving, and I said (lying), "of course not" so I wouldn't be an imposition. Should have been honest. As it is now, when people ask me where I come from, I have no idea how to answer that, having been moved many times .Just don't do anything drastic, you can have your parents email/IM me, if you think it'll help.

Talk to your mom about your feelings; ask if you can stay with one of the relatives or anyone at church who is willing to help you.

If you're old enough, your mom probably make an exception. But if your mom is protective, she will not grant your request - just because she loves you too much.

Whatever the outcome is - be strong in the Lord!!

well, I think if u r big enough u can stay there alone without ur parents, even u can live with ur family or friends if they like u to live with them and ur family will come back 1 year later ,its not a long time, I think.

you could always simply refuse to go. See if one of your friends parents will let u live with them for the year
