Lately, I have begun to experience strange phenomena when I have been falling asleep at night. It has occured 2-3 times in the past 2 weeks. I have been hearing auditory hallucinations. I hear children laughing and playing. I have also felt as if there is a steady breathing in my ear. On another occasion I heard pages being turned, as if someone was reading by my ear. I experience no paralysis and I do not feel intense fear. I have been researching this online and I came across a page describing Hypnagogic Hallucinations. I think that this might be what I am going through. I am very young and I don't beleive this is normal. Any input on the situation would be greatly appreciated.

YES! When you are about to sleep you have Hypnagogic Hallucinations. You hear and see things. This is completely normal only when you are about to go to sleep...the brain has to go into REM etc.

If you are really concerned go to your doctor....But this is Very normal...scarry but normal!

the reason you have become those hallucinations is with the help of the medicine you're taking. it might desire to sense euphoric besides the shown fact which you're killing your ideas cells with those chemical compounds. i'm no longer judging you in any way, besides the shown fact that i might certainly advise which you provide up the medicine in the past that's purely too previous due. as quickly as the ideas cells have been depleted by utilising the medicine, they do no longer come back. that's purely too previous due for any ideas cells which you will have lost already besides the shown fact which you will stop your self from loosing extra by utilising scuffling with taking the medicine. there are countless great coaching councilors which could help you provide up while you're addicted.

maybe you're imagining things. i know i do it. but if you're not scared, then you could be experiencing hypnagogic hallucination. i start imaging things when i'm about to drift off to sleep, usually because its dark and i'm terrified. haha i'm such a baby. maybe talk to a doctor or something.
