If you click on this link, it shows that the raptors are ahead of the bulls, but I do not understand, the bulls have more wins and less losses than the raptors, why is this so?

Remember last year, it was the same thing with the Nuggets, the standings are based on Division. Toronto is the leader of the division. The bulls are 3rd in thier division. That is how the standings work.

This must look odd as it did to me, as well. Toronto is in the weakest division (East/Atlantic) and they lead the division even though they are playing only .500 ball (meaning that their wins equal the amount of their losses). Being that they have (surprisingly and sadly) the best record of all the teams in that division, they are ranked presently 5th behind all the other division leaders:
1. * Washington --
2. * Detroit 0.5
3. Cleveland 0.5
4. * Toronto 4.0

Chicago is in second place in their division behind the front runners of the Eastern/Central division Detroit and Cleveland who are tied for the top spot. Though the Bulls have a better record than the Raptors, they will not be able to pass the leader of the Atlantic in the standings unless they become the front runner of the Central (which could happen anytime being that they have all the tools to lead that division). I hope that makes sense to you.
