what does it mean when someone asks you if you are dipping?

I would say "youre goin down hill" ., something is troubling you in your life so you're taking a dip*/fall.... are you dipping?
or
do you dip your chips (dipping?) LOL are you getting some "Sex"?? who knows*
I dont know* ask the person that asked you if you're dipping what the hell they mean

it means chewing tobacco, you know like a lot of baseball players do.you chew on it and then spit it out.its really gross
