I think I always change the channel or ignore when they start talking about those tapes, I don't have a desire to hear them. I do remember the idea of releasing them was really contraversial...but why, and why let the public hear them anyway. Also, why would some want to hear them?

Whatever is the reason for this propaganda, you can be sure it has the vice presidents initials on it.However the deed(9/11)was a terrorist attack.
What is of more signifiance,is the Anthrax scare on american cities.Prior to the liberation of Iraq. This was the catalyst for the frenzy of the american people. This was the reason that Congress and Senate gave the president the power to strike enemies of the state.Amazingly, to this day no one has been apprehended for this occurence.Anthrax is'nt some chemical that's available to the public. This little diversion needs to be resolved, otherwise this administration will be forever tainted by it

I'm a paramedic myself, and I took 9-11 personally. If I would have been working in New York......I probably would have been there. Since I've been working in the Middle East, especially Iraq, I've learned that was is said on TV, and what is printed in newspapers isn't necessarily the truth. I do thing there is some fishy things going on, especially about the Pentegon "plane crash"....I have yet to see any parts of the wrecked plane. So, I feel there should be some explaining done by the government, and we want the truth this time.

I guess there's two sides to this issue.

There are people who want you never to forget 9/11 so they can keep using it as a propaganda ploy to authenticate their crummy wars and Homeland Suppression.

Then there are the people who don't want you to forget 9/11, so you'll keep paying attention to the crummy wars and Homeland Suppression.

Personally I think that the families of the victims should have the right to hear the voices of their loved ones. And I think we all need to know what was on the black boxes from the planes that were so surreptitiously smuggled out of Ground Zero and hidden from public scrutiny.

It could be another cog in the Bush machine called propaganda. As long as we keep getting 9/11 shoved down our throats, he feels like he's justified in keeping the war going.

Although, it could also be so that the American people don't forget what happened. If you haven't been affected personally by the World Trade Center tragedy, it's easy to go on with your life like it didn't happen. Those that were though, have to live with it everyday. Like the holocaust....you can hear about it and feel badly...but seeing what actually happened takes it to another level.
