And the reason I want to take legal action is because since I was deleted from the group there is no need for my pictures to still be on the group's files. I never saw a disclaimer, where it said that the group would keep your pictures even if removed from the group. Can I seek to sue the owner of the group? Or would be foolish of me? I don't think it's fair that my pictures are there. And I know that because a few of my buddies have told me "If you were removed from the group, why are your pix still posted?"

True, but let's say I've asked and it is not done?? And the pix dont have my face in them, just my breasts, butt with shorts on, and abdominal area. Nothing crazy.

Can you send me these pictures of yourself naked? I think I'll need to see them before I can help you.

If you posted them in the first place, you consented for others to see them; even likely all the members have seen them, and they aren't just going to forget them, and even if you had succeeded in getting them un-posted, if new members joined the group, and old members were talking about how, "This chick who just left the group posted some really hot nude pix, and I copied them, want to see?" that could always happen, so even if the pictures weren't in the group's official files, any of the members might still have them. Suing might relieve you emotionally, but it would serve no other purpose.

Ok...

1 - you made an account
2 - you got sick of the account, for w/e reason, and you decided to delete you entire profile from the system.
3 - so you hit the delete button to delete you account

right?

what you didnt do is delete everything inside that profile before you deleted your profile.

the profile is saved on the internet. not your computer. you cant just disgard something saved on the internet like you can w/ something on your computer. Each letter on your profile is saved somewhere on the internets invasible desktop. When you delete your profile, your pictures probably stayed in some invisable folder.
When you search for pictures tho, they will probably come up.
thats because the search engine doesnt hafta link the folders to find them
ex-

when you had your profile:
Yahoo -> A's Profile -> Pictures

when you deleted your profile:
Yahoo -> xxxxx -> Pictures

instead, when a search engine .. searches... it looks at each folder individually..

ex-

Yahoo,
B's Profile,
C's Profile,
Y's Profile,
B's Pics,
Y's Pics,
C's Pics,
A's Pics,...

Results: A's Pics

your pics being "A's Pics" of course...

see what i mean?

It's not Yahoo's fault.
First contact Yahoo.. request your pics to be deleted.. and they should delete them within reasonable time.
If they don't ... then sue..
you hafta know what your getting yourself into when you post stuff like that on the internet before you do it..

I think you should send those pics to whoever has the best answer! just a little thought.. =)

No, except you've been a minor on the time of imagery, there is not any criminal action you may take. Or, a minimum of, be triumphant with. i do not realize your actuality "if i in my opinion despatched him images." You *did* honestly deliver him images. The "cam" in webcam is short for digicam, is it no longer? he's a jerk, and that truly sucks. yet he's dedicated no crime, nor civil tort. maximum acceptable you would possibly want to do is ask the internet hosting website to get rid of the images. Sorry. EDIT: "take nude images of someone without their expertise" is the option of "I were given nude ... over webcam with an ex." the first states a lack of expertise. the second one states cooperation. So, that's it?

When you post your pic on the Internet, it then becomes "public domain".
I think you've just learned a hard lesson on showing your goodies on the web.

When you upload nude pictures of yourself onto the internet, they live forever. They will be downloaded, saved and reposted in perpetuity.
