We just recently opened a car lot. We are on a busy location with tons of traffic. How do we turn tons of traffic to see our cars and lot. We have pennants and a 10 foot air balloon that says Open. We just put our business sign up but need things that draw attention . Any ideas about attention grabbers or slogans you remember would be greatly appreciated!

Colorful but tasteful decor, really nice people to bring business back, and big signs like "SALE" or something like that. I will go into a place that looks clean, looks colorful and inviting, and where the people are nice but not too persistant. If it is outdoors, which I assume it is, try handing something out for a few days, like something with your business's name on it. Try tshirts or calendars or pens or something . Have someone standing at the entrance giving it out saying, "Hi how are you?" or welcome to so and so's. You could see if a radio station in the area would like to come by for the day and broadcast from there. You could then maybe get a popcorn machine and hand out balloons. It would attract more people and if people were coming with their kids, the kids wouldn't be bored and nagging their parents. I would recommend a slogan that is always used, on documents, on advertisements, tshirts, everywhere. Like, "A name you can trust" or "think beyond". Put your business name on top, like Kevin's Cars and under it put your slogan like, "We work harder so we can save you money." Good luck. Hope this helped =)

Oh and I love "n2tapas" 's slogan..it's perfect. I would visit your car place with a slogan like that.

The most succesful car dealerships are luxury/exotic dealerships. They don't have lots, they have showrooms. They don't carry a lot of inventory (in unit terms, that is; the monetary values can be quite high). They don't wait for customers, they administer waiting lists...

Alternatively, consider this. In 2001, Bain published a study of global automotive industry, which found that 10% of sales (but whopping 50% of profits) of car dealers come from parts and service... Another interesting finding was that new car sales had a profit margin of 0.5%, used car sales, 2.3%, financing and leasing, 17%.

its produced from Nylon, similar fabric they make some Kites with and its meant to Immitate a dancing human being, a brightley colored human being to capture you're interest. Its subliminal extremely someone dancing excitedly provides the guy who's searching at it a feeling of happinessand makes them sense some thing good is occurring on the motor vehicle lot. i do not recognize if this works on all and sundry even though it is the final concept
