Some snow plows have a height adjustment . Set it to keep stones from blowing thru. It's not a good idea. They can ricochet and do physical or property damage. It would throw stones like a lawn mower or rider mower.

Yes they will. If you get someone who knows what they are doing they will let the snow get a base of about 2 - 3" first, this helps as the gravel will not be disturbed. The best kind of snowplows are the ones that blow the snow not actually blow it. They look like a tractor, it sucks the snow up and they can divert it to blow in a certain direction.

They can, but the stones will be disturbed, and some will be in the grass and you may have to add more to your driveway in spring. You will also have to rake them out of the grass. That's a pain in the you know what.
