What do you hook up the wires to in a car to test for RPM with a digital engien anylyser?

Clip the inductive pickup to spark plug #1
Select I\P on the dial of the meter.
Turn the meter on.
Start the car.

Dum Blod stuff, does not apply here. OK?.. Now,first there are different methods, weather you have regular ingnition with the tall round coil near by, attach the two sest clips on the studs , ware the two thin wires go. Some times special plug assemblies are needed.
Go see your favorite trusted mechanic, and see what he recomends, and watch what he does, so you can do it your self next time.

You ARE a blond! It depends on a particular vehicle - type of ignition, etc. If it's an OBD2 (1996 or later), you are better off using a scanner.
