Yes its compatible with any GBA game. unfortunatly thats all its compatible with. you can't use your old gameboy color games.

... no a DS is like upgraded , (thats like asking can GBA video games be performed on GB colour) GBA video games would properly be performed on DS. yet unique GB video games cant (with somewhat of luck the'll turn all of them into GBA video games)

yes they are ,but you can only play gba games not gameboy color
