if you were sure you could get away with it? And the corporation were maybe somewhat evil. Exxon for example, or some weapons manufacturer.

Only if I had some self-righteous reason I could justify it with-- for example, like you said, if the corporation was evil. I would especially do it if the corporation had a tendency to lay people off-- in fact, if they laid people off, I might find myself needing to steal from this company on principle, even if I didn't keep a penny for myself. Justice demands it.

But, it it was a "good" corporation that adhered to ethical policies like not laying off workers and not doing other unethical things, I would NOT steal from it, and I'd beat up anyone who did!!!

no i have actually spent alot of my time in life looking over my shoulder for reason s I will not go into here. I hate when my friends call my name out in public, or my kids call out to me attracting attention, its an old habit from old days... again I cannot tell you exactly why but I will tell you thast I have done some "stuff" in my life..( I am not wanted by the cops or anything right now and do not intend to be ever again, I hope ) but believe me its better to have a peaceful mind, or a full good night's sleep than to have lots of money or stuff that doesn't belong to you and always be looking back over your shoulder or thinking that today may be the last you ever breathe freeworld air, trust me stay honest

those days they have not had to harass. to illustrate, the oil organization authorities that became requested through congress why they were charging a lot for gas after Katrina. His answer became very straightforward and to the point: "because we may be able to."

No, no matter what the company is, or what they have done, even if they are evil, I would always feel guilty.
