You know you think of something and it asks you 20 questions about it and it tells you what you were thinking! Do you know what I'm talking about, if you do, do you know how it works?

Yeah, it's pretty amazing. I think it's just simple process of elimination. It has a database of objects, and criteria for each. Through it's questions, it narrows the possibilities down to a few possible objects. Of course, you do have to answer truthfully, and it doesn't have everything; it doesn't do well with concepts, like 'swastika' or 'dream' (For swastika, it guessed urine, hole and tornado). It did guess 'spirit' when my friend was thinking of God, though. It's pretty amazing what computers can do....

It has a list of thousands of things and it narrows it down by asking you "20 questions" (just like when you played with your friends when you were in elementary school or whatever). Its not always correct with some more obscure things, it is quite amazing that it can really guess most of the things that your thinking, but that's technology for you.
