Well it DOES depend on how you define success. Is success just a high paid salary and alot of things like a big house , speedy cars, lots of jewellery. For some this is success.
For others success is accomplishing something anything . Especially if no had any expectations that you would accomplish it . For example someone who is disabled obtaining a university education and then going on to find ongoing regular employment probably thinks of him/herself as ' successful'.
Someone who only always wanted to be a mum , who always wanted to have children and adopts or has her own natural children and raises them to be the best they can might consider herself a success at motherhood.
Being successful, in other words accomplishing something you dream of doing or achieving helps one's self-esteem grow. It teaches you that you are worthy, that you can do the right steps to finish something, whether it's getting an a on an assignment or completing a rehab program or just finishing something you started where you know you put your whole heart and soul and effort into.
Sometimes being a success means just being a good kind person with alot of integrity who is not necessarily respected for money or fame or status but because he /she is just that , a good person everyone likes and trusts.
Being true to your own values, be honest and authentic with yourself about who you are and what you do , say and think is imho what a successful person is.
I wish there were more of those instead of the celebs and sports heros or politicians or actors/musicians who think they're successful and let you know 24/7.

Success is important in life cause it shows that you worked hard to get there and also that you are satisfied and happy with your goal that is when it success. Everybody definition of success is different. for example for one person success might be being a priest while anothers might be a CEO of a big company. this is not really clear but do you see where I am coming from?

To be successful in life is being happily married, having children, living within your means, having good careers, and most important having good health. Not everyone has the same definition. There are some that are very ambitious and love to show society how successful they are which has never been important to me.Being comfortable and content is important to me.That's my opinion.

Success is sometimes simply being Happy. Success is sometimes just making sure you have earned everything you have right now. Success means making sure you have worked hard enough to be the person you want to be.

This is tough question because people rate success differently. Success isn't wealth and it's not fame! Please don't go their unless your teacher is gearing that direction. Success is what did you offer the world for betterment. Donald Trump is rich and famous but what does he offer to the world. NOTHING!
Bill gates is also rich and famous but he is trying to solve the world problems, he will not through technology. Please research noble prize foundation and begin your understanding. I salute your teacher and hope you gain profound understanding through research. Best wishes.

It is a status quo thing... started eons ago by someone who said, "I've done this and achieved this, you didn't..." and the claim for bragging rights has been going down hill ever since, that is why we now have different classes of society... rich, poor, homeless, etc.

And your plan, would not look too undesirable. i might do it yet nonetheless, I do prefer to flow to college. you could flow to college and get a diploma then after that, you could trip the international. i'm 17 too and stay in usa too lls I completely believe Candice. If i'm mushy with myself and my existence, i'm useful.
