The relative cost of solar energy is poor compared to the payment. Granted this is an opinion. I have found that if I have no energy at all and then get solar energy. the cost of the panels is well worth the expense. However if I have an energy source the cost of the panels is not worth the expense.

solars always good. the problem is a panel can only run at 15% of its top efficency. Companys are trying to figure out how to get it higher. Try investing in companies experimenting with this. Buy stock in the company. The only risk is you'll lose your money so chose your company wisly and check their track record

It is the efficiency of the panels that is holding everything back. If they were free at the present efficiency they still would not make any economic sense. So anyone that is getting better efficiency in terms of KW/sq.meter is a good play. Long term, and risky. Don't bet the farm on it, but being a little visionary is good. Who would have thought you could get pictures out of your radio? In color, yet. And delivered in a glass fiber. So, yeah, find someone in the efficiency game and put some cash out.

Unfortunately a lot of people don't understand the benefits. I, on the other hand, would love to be one of your customers when I'm at that point in my life to get solar panels!
