The Saw movies! I absolutely love them! They scare you so much as you are watching them but when they are done you can still go to sleep at night. :D They ALWAYS have crazy twists. Not to mention its probably the goriest thing I've ever seen. (In a humorous sort of way sometimes)

I like the new chain of Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies, but I prefer the older ones over the new ones they've made. And even though you said nothing older than the eighties, those are my favorite scary moves! I don't really like new ones. There's one called Black Rose from the 80's that is hilarious. About this heavy metal band whose music is turning teenagers into monsters or whatever. Good stuff!

So few Scary movies out there now. Most "Scary" Movies are simply Gore fests. Let's see how much blood we can show. That doesn't scare me. Actually too predictable. Heck Stay Alive was a decent movie. Although I expected most of what happened and knew when it would. Best would proably be the first Final Destination though.

I like' House of Wax' the 2005 version with Paris HIlton in it, although that wasn't too scary, only it's more gory.
I do think that 'Freddy vs. Jason' was scary enough, though...

The Messenger. I know it hasn't even come out yet and it's already my favorite. Gets me anxious everytime I watch the preview.
