I'm left handed, but play all sports right handed - because that's how I was taught - although in tennis instead of playing a back-hand shot I just shove the racket into my left hand and play a left-handed forehand shot. Likewise when I get stuck in pool I just swap hands and play that way. Re feet, I'd say I'm just as comfortable with both, though being female I've never played football properly.
My son who's 6, on the other hand (no pun intended!) is right-handed but is so left footed that if he tries to kick it with his right foot he practically falls over. His football coach seems quite keen on him and I'm sure it's because he's left footed because he's not a noticably better player than the other little boys.
Also Graham Thorpe the ex-England and Surrey cricketer was a left handed batsman but a right handed bowler and writes with his right hand.

I am ambidextrous and it depends what I am doing as far as what hand or foot I use.
I actually have to think about it for I use what ever is comfy. It has been so long since I have been in school playing sports....
Working machinery, depending on what machine I would be working with depends on what hand I would use. Sometimes running such as sanding a piece of wood I can run two at one time. Detailed work usually the right hand unless it was difficult to get to then I would use the left.
Playing pool I alternate, which ever will get the job done. Of course in my favor lol!
I started off writing with my left, but teachers would scold me (not like today) and I had to learn to write with my right hand. So now I can write with both, right of course being my main one.
Yard work I use the left, foot and hand. Gosh this is hard lol!
Just whatever feels right.....When I was a kid lefties got in serious trouble for using there left! It was considered un natueral.... It took me for ever to learn right and left. You right with your right hand, well I wrote with my left hand....so left is right , right?

I am left-handed and also left-footed, as are most of the other left-handed people I have known (left-footedness is usually noticeable only during sports involving kicking, although maybe there are left-footed dancers - I don't know!). I believe that virtually all of us are left-eyed as well, as when we look into a telescope or microscope, or through a peep-hole.

I am ambidextrous , eat and write with my left hand , everything else is done with the right , opening doors, throwing a ball, batting in baseball..I usually start walking with the right foot as well.......
Medical trivia concerning brain injury.....ambidextrous people have a better chance for a nice recovery...Reason? they are constantly using both sides of the brain to function in a left handed or right handed world where the abilities of exclusive handedness is somewhat detrimental to recovery......
