Democracy is for sale because of the apathy of middle-class Americans...you would think if we didn't care about anything else we would demand that our government uphold our constitution... I can't understand why millions of us aren't marching in the streets! Writing letters to the president & congress has had very little effect!

Because some People are willing to sell out America for there own Personal needs. Like Congress and the Senate have had 4 pay raises in the last 8 years, But they won't raise the minimum wage for the little guy. Because it would hurt big business. It's all real sad. It's kinda like every Man or Women for them self's in this Country. Either you got or you don't. The worst part about it is it's going to get a lot worse.

Big business is the reason our economy is the envy of every other nation on the face of the earth. They provide our jobs. Without them we would be just another 3rd world wanna be. In this country you get out of it what you put into it, plus a lot more. There are abuses of course, but they are the goose that lays the golden egg.

Who gives you your job? the unemployed guy on welfare? No. You want to save money on everything you buy, but you want an American salary. We have to complete with China who has access to close to slave labor to manufacture all that cheap crap that fills stores such as walmart, home depot, etc..etc.. do you want those business to leave too and then you can pray that walmart has a opening? You need to think this through just a little bit further before you start cutting off your nose to spite your face.
