And no, I haven't even used it once in the three days. Yes, it was fully charged before I put it in my purse.

I talked to the company and they first put in a new battery. Same problem. Then they replaced the phone totally. Same problem.
No, a button is not turned on. I have used the same purse and cell phone pocket for two years with my old phone and no problem like this. I looked in my purse and pulled out ALL my change, moved my credit I use my phone only rarely and it sure is frustrating then when I finally need it, every few days, it's dead. Well, anyone with ideas on this? Does my workplace send out weird electronic vibes.

Your battery may be fine, however when you put it into your purse, things in side your purse may be pushing buttons either on the phone's keypad (non-flip) or on the side of the phone (flip phone). After 3 days if you aren't checking the time our if you have messages or missed calls and your battery dies then yes your battery is defective. But if you're checking the time, seeing if someone called you that uses up the battery just to illuminate the screen. Good Luck though!

the more stuff your phone does the faster the battery dies. you don't have to use it for it to die either. i don't quite understand the techonology but a simple phone you plug in for 3 hrs a week. a phone with more stuff and its an all day charge that lasts 3 days. i use a phone like you do and got frustrated with all the plans and got a simple basic phone for about 50 bucks and pay 50 bucks for 400 minutes that last 3 months through tmobile. i have learned simple is better in cell phones.

Same thing was happening to my daugther when I finally plugged it it overnight. Are you letting the phone charge long enough? Sometimes you need to charge new batteries longer.

Are you turning off your cell phone is what you are saying and putting it in your purse?

You must have some janky people where you take your phone too. Every phone has a "shelf" life. It may be charged when you put it in yur purse, but it still uses power to be able to be ready to ring. Also for keeping track of time. You have to charge your phone every night to make sure it is still charged. you may have had another phone that didn't do that but now a-days we have stuff on our phones like GPS and such. That takes energy.
