Move either extremely slowly, or as quick as you can. If you move slowly, you're much more steady. If you move quickly, you're less likely to make error because less time is spent at your eyelid.

But just in case...get an eyeliner that doesn't burn when it does get in your eye! =P

Hope it helps..

My friend has a problem with shakey hands and neck and she even went to the doctor for it. I guess she tried a prescription but something about it wasnt working out for her. He doctor then suggested to own way to help calm it down would be to sip on a glass of wine. I am not sure how old you are, but if you are a responsible adult or 21, then try drinking a half glass of wine before applying your makeup. For days before work, skip the liquid eyeliner (since you cant drink before work) and just make sure you put on mascara. DONT EVER forget that. Making sure to at least leave the house with mascara on is the #1 beauty rule! Good luck and hopefully no more smuggies:)

lol. you need to balance your hand by resting it on a hard surface while applying your eyeliner. so if you're doing your makeup in the bathroom, rest your hand on the countertop thing.

and when you do apply the liquid liner, make sure to just do one straight line across. if you do it in parts, thats when the hand gets shaky.

and i would recommend trying a pencil liner, which you can take longer to apply. =)

If you have a counter or vanity then you rest your elbows on the counter and then (gingerly) pull at the corner of your eye with your left finger (if you are right handed) and apply with your right hand, you have to get your face close to the mirror too. Hope it helps!

I rest the bottom of my palm on my cheek. It helps when you support and stabilize your hand at least a little bit, rather than have your whole hand out in the air with nothing to keep it remotely still.

do you crack your knuckles? if u do, stop! i know someone who has the hardest time putting on eyeliner cuz her hands shake like crazy. she cracks her knuckles 24/7. and imagine how bad it will get when shes old.
but anyways if u dont have a problem with that, rest on ur elbow and do it slowly in front of a mirror.

With your free hand, grab your hand that is applying the eyeliner. Also, sorry that the freak with the finger gesture.

You might want to get checked for Parkinsons Disease. Doesn't sound normal. Other than that, if it is stress, just relax. And ignore the guy above me. Nice finger jerk.

hold the hand your applying withs wrist with your other hand. and i know it sounds funny, but its provent that you have to open your mouth or else it just doesn't work. you could also try resting your elbow on your counter.
