No jobs, horrid economy, bad roads, no businesses, no infrastructure, no culture. Racist. No public transport. Dirty. Polluted. High crime. Rude drivers.

You get taken to a hospital where the fire alarm is going off for no reason and an overweight, black nurse sits on your gurney smoking cigarettes and talking on her cellphone about the new 50 Cent album.
Yep Michigan is disgusting.

Detroit Mi. This place sucks. It's cold, dirty, racist, no jobs and the highest foreclosure rate in the country. The roads suck. Since we keep losing jobs, we keep losing residents. So the state just taxes the residents that are left more, which makes it harder for us to survive. Cops don't fight crime anymore, they just sit at the side of the freeway between 5-9 am and pass out tickets the the people who have jobs to go to. We too plan on moving out and heading down south. I love Ga, but will probably end up in NC.

Washington state. Never move here. It has the highest suicide rate because it is a very cloudy lonely state. The people are clicky and shut you out of their lives. They won't hang out with you and be friends. They don't care about anyone but themselves and their families. Very selfish people. Can't wait to move!

I'd say Florida. Very pretty , great climate, and nice people.... but every year they batten down for another hurricane season. I just don't get it. They rebuild. It's blown down. They rebuild again. And what the hey are all those retirees living in mobile homes thinking. Nothing more than large tin cans.

Been to Atlanta and savannah many times for long stretches - we love it!!
It's unfortunate you've been exposed to racism in your state - racism is everywhere - you just have to face it and deal with it. New England is very nice - hope you enjoy the cold weather!!

Michigan is getting pretty bad right now with the Auto industry and Pfizer just announced 10,000 jobs being lost.
Right now our economy sucks!!!

I just moved from GA. It definitly sucked, but not because of the racism issue. I thought GA was pretty tame in comparison to its neighbors. Have you ever been to SC or Alabama? and you think GA sucks...lol.

I would say Alabama but you should be OK over there. But I think Oregon because it is soooo boring!
