Aquarius belongs to a group of constellations that the Sun appears to travel through each year. Spring is a good time of the year for those of us who live north of the equator to see this constellation.

The myths of ancient greece probably identified Aquarius as Ganymede, a young boy kidnapped by Zeus. Ganymede would become the cupbearer for the Olympian gods.

Many of the stars that make up Aquarius have names that refer to good luck. This is most likely due to the time of year when the Sun would rise in Aquarius. It happened to be at the same time when the rainy season began in the Middle East.

There are three globular clusters in Aquarius that may be viewed through a small telescope. The planetary nebula, named the Saturn Nebula, is there as well as the Helix Nebula, located directly east of the "foot".

There is no "star" called "Aquraos."
There is a constellation called "Aquarius," which covers many degrees of area in the sky.
No stars or planets, however, have anything to do with your personality, the events in your life, or anything else. That's "astrology" not astronomy. It's a bunch of ancient myths put together by ignorant ancient people who thought thunder was god being angry, the sun was a god, and didn't know what the planets or stars were. It's been proven to be absolutely and completely useless as a predictor for anything thousands of times over.
