Forget about a gift, he will probably break off with you the `13th and get back the 15th, thats what I always do.

Tell him you don't go in for Hallmark holidays and you two can have a movie together, rather than both of you blowing money on Valentines. Him not buying a gift would be a great gift from you.
OR make him a romantic dinner.

Other than you, what is his favorite thing in the world? Movies? Sports? Video Games? Do one of these activitie with him. Go to the movie, or a sports game, or play video games with him. Does he like books? Go to barnes and noble or borders and spend the day looking a reading books. I am sure you have other "things" planned. But for the most partt this will really make him happy. The best gift is you, but you can make it even better by showing interest in his favorite things.

Hallmark has these cute and funny stuff animals that have different personalities. Like the tiger is a funny romantic with a really cool accent. I think that would be a good present and they have three different animals to choose from so your bound to find something that matches him. Good luck!

Well, why don't you treat him to something like a movie or go to an amusement park. I'm sure time with you will mean more to him then a random gift you can find anywhere.

As a guy I would want to receive something money can't buy... a surprise dinner prepared by you with love is really something to please us and make us feel so special... Gifts isn't a big deal, if you are really serious... a branded wrist watch would be nice =)

Don't buy...make. Make the fanciest home cooked meal you know how to make and end it with a sinfully delicious dessert. He'll be thinking about that for months after.

Get him something funny like a pair of boxers or a thong with hearts on them. He will love this. Maybe he will model them for you. Then you both win

how about just telling him.."We don't have to do anything tonight, I hate Valetine's Day...and Please don't buy me anything. Its sucha stupid holiday anyways." That would be the best Valentine's Day gift any guy could get.
