My computer doesn't hibernate, it freezes. If I am using the Internet and step away for 10 minutes, I will have to reboot to get a connection. If I close the lid (it's a notebook), I will have to reboot to get online. Isn't this damaging to my computer? I usually turn it off and unplug it when I am not using it so it does not overheat. So I am always starting it upas it is.

you could have spyware or it could be a hardware problem.

Search for Spyware Doctor and down load it and run it is free but will not monitor your computer with out purchase.
