She sucked.. That's what happened. I don't know who said she was destined to be the next Stevie Nicks.. They obviously never heard her sing live, without lip synching.

I don't care about Ashlee Simpson, but I can tell you that there is absolutely NO WAY that she could be the next Stevie Nicks. The difference: Stevie Nicks has talent

Wow, I'm surprised anyone would even try to compare Stevie with Ashlee. Ashlee's career truly is going down the drain. She hasn't created very much of a positive image for anyone really. She was the preacher's daughter and she became a Jessica wannabe. I know she and her sister have a perfectly solid relationship and understanding of each other. They're incomparable, with each other, they're totally different in so many ways. I guess Ashlee's splits with Ryan Cabrera and Braxton Olita, to be recent, have been a little less dramatic and her also current fling with Pete Wentz have been categorized as unimportant. That's what Ashlee is, when she tries to create publicity stints, they all go down the hill. She won't ever be able to meet with her sister in the world of music inspiration, Jessica can easily drive out Ashlee and Jessica's the one who's been a double threat, acting and singing, hello! I'm sorry, Ash, you'll just never really make it up.

she performed at a large sporting event and got caught lip-sinking...i guess the general public doesn't like fakes. Stevie knicks and ashlee simpson have never even been somewhat close to having the same musical talent. They never even sang the same type of music. I don't think ashlee could come back after making a public fool of herself.

I think Ashlee got a raw deal being the sister of Jessica, Jessica was prettier, and more famous, but in my opinion less talented. I think her early mistakes where big news because she was Jessica's little sister. Most artist have a few years of anonymity to screw up before the spotlight is shown on them. That being said Ashlee is no Stevie.

Her father messed up her career like he did to Jessica and Nicks marriage. He is a greedy, gold digger who would prostitue his daughters on the street so he could keep his manision and his diamond earring.
