This is how you do it. Never settle for less than your best. Change the things in your life you know you can change. Smile the minute you wake up in the morning because you have been given another day to do something about your life. Start believing in yourself.

I highly recommend the book "Positive Psychology" by Martin Seligman. He writes about how to lead a happy life and what things in life truly make you happy. It is scientifically based and not just any self help book, which anyone can write! He has a Phd. and is highly knowledgeable in the new field of positive psychology. It is really worth checking out. Helps with self adjustment tremendously! Good luck!

As one who used to worry and rethink all conversations, please allow me to give you some advice. It will be up to you to take this advice and run with it.
It takes much training through constantly weighing everything that comes to mind. What I mean is: every time you find yourself thinking bad thoughts or worrying, STOP. Tell yourself you can do nothing by worrying. Tell yourself you cannot change anything by worrying. Tell yourself it will not matter in 100 years anyway. Tell yourself you can do nothing to change the past, present, or future except by action, not worry.
If you are concerned about your health, go get a complete physical.
If you are concerned about life on your own, just wait. Every day brings new challanges and lessons to be learned. Nothing can be changed by worrying. Just take each minute, hour, second, on its own merit.
Ask yourself: What can I do by worrying? Does it help or hurt me? Will it change anything? Can I accept each moment for its own merits and gifts?
If you still have trouble, you might consider going to a mental health professional for help.
The above examples and meditation help me so much. There are not many things I worry about anymore. And when I find myself worrying, I remind myself that I can change nothing except through acting upon the problem.
I still have the physical effects of too much worry, but medication helps. High blood pressure meds and Nexium for my ulcers.
One more thing: Be sure to fill the voids in your life with positives. Take up hobbies to occupy your mind. Fill the voids with spiritual matters, if you so choose. Make friends that you can really count on and spend time with them, doing fun things.
Good Luck

Wow, if I knew this answer I'd be rich. I think the best way to answer you is to tell you to live your life to the best of your abilities. As long as you can honestly say you've done your best, you should be happy. Good Luck and Peace.

If you are bothered SO much in your current situation, all you need to do is stand up and TAKE what you want. Nobody is going to hand anything to you. You don't like your job? Don't complain about it, find another. Can't find another? Try another field.
