LEUCUCYTES are white blood cells that multiply in the body as a defence mechanism against infection.

When it is present in numerous amount in the urine sample it is usually synonymous with a urinary tract infection. In this case there is usually pus cells and some red blood cells present as well.

If there are only few leucocytes without anything else then there is no infection and this would be a normal finding.

Hope this answers your question.

I thiink they found leucocytes, which are white blood cells that attack and destroy bacteria that have invaded your body. They are usually an indication of an infection.

Hopefully your doctor or someone out there can give you more details about what treatment is required.
