'Miss Golightly' (Audrey Hepburn)'Breakfast at Tiffany's' for style and glamour;
'Babe' (Jennifer Grey) 'Dirty Dancing' for child like Innocence;
'Jack Sparrow' (Johny Depp) 'Pirates of the Caribbean' for sheer sex appeal;
Captain Scott (Sir John Mills) 'Scott of the Antartic' as the teller of Tales;
'Sugar' (Marilyn Montore) 'Some like it Hot 'as a soul mate for Johny Depp;
Citzen Kane (Orson Wells) Film of the same name for his sheer presence;
James Bond (Sean Connery) 'You Only Live twice' so he can gloat at Marilyn;
HM The Queen (Helen Mirren) 'The Queen' to keep the rest of the company amused.

Just a few of the many that I would invite.

Edward Scissorhands will do the salad, The Incredible Hulk will mash the potatoes... The guy with all the flames on the Fantastic Four could flame grill the burgers, Captn. Jack Sparrow will handle the drinks, and clear Rivers from the Final Destinations could be the health and safety inspector?

Of course if you're going for guests as for their adding to conversation... then Jim's Dad from American Pie, Dr. Dolittle, and the Four Yorkshiremen. =)

I would invite Kate Winslet, Keri Russel, Kate Hudson, and Katie Holmes. Those women are beautiful, classy, and lovely. The men I'd invite, Johnny Depp as the first. Then, I'd go for Tom Cruise, Guy Ritchie accompanying his ladylove, Justin Timberlake, and Chad Michael Murray.
