Every service is not subject to service tax.Only those services which have been notified as taxable services on the link below are subject to service tax

The question of payment of service tax and deduction will arise only subsequently.Financial Consulting is not a notified service unless the scope of service provided by you is covered within ambit of any of the service notified as taxable service under the Finance Act 1994 as amended on the link below:

no service tax is paid for the service rendered and ur claiming it from ur client which is added in the cost so it is not exempt

yes, for business income or professional income compuataion, service tax is allowed as deduction.
