admit it you got caught. it would be better to be honest and faithful or it will become a trust issue. if you dont love him break up. if you do then try harder. lying will get you nowhere and karma has a way of striking when you least expect or want it. and nobody likes a liar not even you.

Every single person has lied at one point or another. People in general need to make conscious choices about how they want to conduct their life. I, personally, don't feel comfortable about lying. One lie seems to lead to another and then you have to remember what you lied about. I think its better to live "clean", not hiding and fearful that you are going to be caught. You need to be responsible for your actions, even if those actions will get you into trouble with someone else. Sometimes we make a misjudgment about something and then we are embarrassed about it and feel the need to lie about it. I think being honest about things makes us free of it.

I also feel that I can take the most horrible or hurtful truth from someone else, rather than a lie. Eventually I would cope with the anger or the hurt of being told the truth. If I am lied to and find out about it, I lose trust and that is more difficult to regain.

If you lie because you want to prevent losing something you hold dear, like a relationship or a person's trust, sometimes its better just to keep it to yourself and attempt not to let it happen again (like cheating on a partner that you have a commitment to). Although, if you are caught beyond a doubt, its best to come clean and admit the truth, unless you are fearful of physical abuse.

Sometimes it is best just to deny, deny and deny regardless if you go caught or not.
If a person admits it, they get questioned about the other person for the rest of their life anyway. No one said that it would be a smooth road anyway.
Do what your heart tells you to do. Everyone has different answers, and no one is going to give you the true answer anyway.
