I personally don't think that anyone should be drafted. I don't agree with the war that is currently being staged in the middle east because of greed. There are a great deal of women now in the armed forces of all countries and the US is the only one with a draft. I have yet to hear someone male or female say this is something that is appealing to them. Would you as a male want to be drafted??? If you answer yes you would be daft.

This was a fun question! And the answers were great too!
Women don't want "special priveleges," in promotions and workforce issues. Special considerations based on gender are as offensive as not being considered for a promotion based on gender.
Women do, however, recognize that for a very long time we were consdidered second class citizens (still are in some countries), and even though women may have had equal to superior skills, men were selected to leadership roles.
Equality isn't about gaining an upper hand. It's about leveling the playing field (so-to-speak). And business women have proven they are a force to reckon with.
Be afraid - It will probably be a female doctor that introduces equality in child-bearing! Hehehe
Live well

I'm a woman and I'm in the military. I'm currently deployed and the only magazines we have at our on base stores are for men. FHM, Stuff, Maxim, and all the other disgusting porno mags for men. There is nothing there for us women to look at. I'm not talking about Playgirl or anything. We dont have a single magazine!!! The only celebrities that come see us are catered to the male audience. Honestly we dont feel very supported. Equality would be supporting the men and the women of the armed forces. And on another note, we have women serving on the frontlines of combat everyday. There is no safe place in the war!!! Convoys are being attacked and even chowhalls. Women are the bloody casualties too and we can handle fighting!

I surely tend to think of that the so called 'equality subject concerns' are surely self imposed . This has been so for thousands of years in India . interior the present previous few generations those are extra obvious. Even on the "god" point we see this as being the norm in India . women individuals knew the duel function they could play of their lives . that's instinctive and organic. We see this trait in all woman species interior the international , birds , animals ..... and the people . the mummy`s instinct in women individuals immediately assigns a definite priority to lift the offspring's . This organic trait is misunderstood by utilising the male as being a vulnerable trait and that they income in this . that's with the aid of this that girls individuals traditionally took energetic roles interior the family contributors and the society with duel duty . for this reason men went into the exterior international and girls individuals interior the domicile . Now the situation is changing with modernity yet women individuals nonetheless look after the youngsters better than the boys . This imposes specific preconditions while women individuals are employed everywhere . while there are adequate jobs to flow around this modifications are accommodated . yet while jobs are much less then choosing between men and girls individuals tilts in favour of a topic much less men. Now women individuals are the two and in many circumstances extra appropriate than men of their artwork and the scientific care and admire for women individuals is increasing .

Who says we don't? Some of us, maybe, but not all of us. I'm all for equal EVERYTHING, including signing up for Selective Services, equal pay for equal WORK(not JOB, but actual WORK done), and equal jail time for equal crime. I hate seeing all these sick *** female teachers getting a light to no sentence while a male in the same situation(whether the child is male or female) gets hung out to dry.

Working in an office is far more desirable than fighting a war. We don't support anyone being drafted, although, if there had to be a draft, we wouldn't want it to be entirely male.

You're correct, although I'm not in favor of women being drafted for combat duties.
I have found that the types of women who whine about wanting "equality" (feminists, usually) really are not being honest, and they really want special rights and special advantages.
For example:
They want special hiring privileges based upon the female gender.
They want contracts to be awarded to them based upon the female gender.
They want the court system to consider that they have no dishonesty or criminal gene, while they want men's rights taken away according to a new system of Feminist Jurisprudence.
I assure you that they do not want "equality," even though most of them have convinced themselves of that in their own minds.
There are some exceptions, though.

That's one of the main fallacies of the women's movement. They want equal respect, pay, and credit, but don't want equal standards for those things. I am woman, hear me roar, but don't hold me accountable. I'm your equal, but you're paying when we go out. I'm your equal, but you're going to work the 60 hour a week job; if I work at all, it will be enjoyable.

I find some of these responses slightly offending. We don't necessarily want "special privileges", but when articles are being published that say women are getting paid less for the exact same jobs that men do, it's slightly offending. Our work isn't as important as yours? Our time isn't worth as much?
I'd like to see you carry a small human around in your abdomen for 9 months and then have to push it out of your vagina. Then you can come back and complain that we only want "the good things in life".
