Ugh.. let me explain this to you people. I'm a CRIMINAL JUSTICE major, I'm going to school to be a POLICE OFFICER. It is the ONLY major that they require you to have gym. I didn't stretch first and I am sore. Damn, you all are a bunch of whiners lol. Thanks for those of you who gave genuinely helpful answers :)

Sore legs?
Muscle ache from workout can happen easily, yet, if color healing would be more known, the pain might go away faster.

Here's what I do in such cases:

I use the Dinshah color Green and shine it on my aching muscles. This color disintegrates medium strong acids, which are accumulated in the muscle. Sometimes I even read or watch TV while using the light, which of course is not by the book. It is "Healing with the Speed of LightTM," literally!

How does this work?
The colors entrain the off energy of the body to become normal so that the cells can vibrate at a normal, healthy rate. Entrainment is known from music, when one tuning fork may entrain another. Same here: the cells are brought back to their normal vibratory rate.

When you have a set of Dinshah color filters and some guidance, you may be able to lower pain quickly, whenever it happens. I keep a color apothecary.

Lots of colored light!

I've been there. It's best to stretch even though it will hurt. Push against a wall so that one leg is bent and in front and the other leg is straight out to the back and really stretch it. It will hurt, but you need to keep it loose. The other good stretch is to put your leg up on a chair and then bend your body down to it and touch your toes (while the other leg is standing up). Really push down and move it around a bit until you feel the stretch in your calves.

You have to take GYM in college? Consider transfering to another college because that is ridiculous that as an adult they are forcing you to exercise. Exercise is a personal thing once you are out of grade school. I have been to 5 different colleges and none of them ever forced students to take gym. I dont even think they had a gym class.
For now just rub your legs and dont over work yourself in class or transfer.

you need to exercise more if a gym class can cause your calves to ache.

use heat to relieve the pain.
then try this: go for a light jog/brisk walk. the muscles will ache, but this is normal. do it until you can feel your calves loosing up. then stretch PROPERLY.

1. sit down and tucking one leg in, reach for the toes of the other leg. alternate until the calves feel relaxed.

2. go down in a push up postion. then place the foot of one leg behind the foot of the other. you will feel a gentle stretch in your calves. alternate legs until your calves start to relax

Aspirin, drink a lot of water, Hot/cold (heating blanked and ice pack) alternating heat on the affected area, and keep on using the muscles that hurt very lightly, i.e. don't just lay around all day.

sounds like you are lazy and need more physical activity. cause if your calves are hurting from one class then you need to keep it up in and out of class. Once you build up those muscles you won't even notice it anymore..... come on you can do it....... keep it up.

You're paying big money to be tortured. Plus it would never make you a dime. Why?
