You can find those items on the web with relative ease. I can offer you a closing that many might not think of though.
Anti and Counter terror actions and activities in the US are much like an iceberg. At least 90% of it is below the surface. Agencies within the government play these cards very close to the vest. If they revealed everything they were doing to the general public they would also be telling the terrorist about it. As a retired military man I can tell you with absolute certainty. If I know exactly what you are prepared to defend against, I won't attack there. I will look for the softest target every time I engage. It only makes sense, and it also makes sense to the terrorists.

Well, for starters, the war in the middle east has helped us stop our citizens from gaining exposure to terrorist acts. While our troops are exposed to said activity, if they were not present, the attacks would be occurring in OUR streets, instead of where they are now.
Another way the Government has helped prevent exposure to terrorist acts is by limiting what mass-media companies can and cannot show on television. Excessive violence, gore, or death filmed by reporters documenting the war cannot be shown on television.
Airport security checks are another perfect example of limiting the populace from exposure to terrorism. In meticulously checking each airline passenger's belongings, the government [in cooperation with the security agencies in airports] finds and removes any and all suspicious objects in baggage and investigates them, therefore negating the possibility of an attack, which in turn would certainly expose the country to a terrorist act.
I hope I was able to be of some help. Good luck on your paper.

What a dumb question... the focus of the President isnt to limit the US's exposure to terrorist attacks... its to bring democracy to Iraq after we take Hussein's Regime out of power.
Does your teacher even know what shes talking about?
Good thing teachers go to college, huh...
i guess you could talk about Gitmo....

Read my post.
Focus on how Clinton warned about what may happen if Iraq is allowed a 3rd route in this WMD debate...
Talk about Saddam's sneakiness...how he didnt allow investigators to do their searches the UN authorized, when he supposedly had nothing to hide.
Talk about how Bush finally took action and successfully took Saddam's Regime out of power, with VERY few casualties
(3,000 [in 6 years] dead out of 250,000 [# of soldiers stationed in Iraq since 2003])
That paper will get you an A++, i garuntee
