How long should I wait to wash my car after it has been painted? It was painted by the dealer then "heat baked" just wondering?

Thanks!

Assuiming they used an infrared paint baker, then you can wash it immediately (with a soft cloth). Waxing is a different story, you should wait about one month before waxing it. This will let the paint cure before the wax seals it.

No name above me is right....but use luke warm to cold water for the first month of washing after the paint job. Hot water can hurt the finish if not actually dull it.

Waxing you can do right away as wax will not seal the paint. But a paint sealant or polish will seal the paint so wait at least a month for these. But you can use a basic caranuba wax right away.

Between 6 & 10 years. Ask the dealer that did the work! Make sure you use a detergent made specialy for car paint.

I use to paint vehicles for a living the best thing is to wait 12 hours. so the clear coat will get time to completly set up even thoe heat baked its stiill not completly hard

I would wait at least 6 weeks and while your waiting try not to close the doors all the way (shut but don't slam)
