Forgiveness of sins starts with yourself. Can you accept it that you're not perfect, that you make mistakes? When you make mistakes, do you really understand why they're mistakes? If you keep making the same one, do you understand what you get out of it? YOU are like a little eddy in the current of a vast river, forces flowing in to you, actions flowing out. And yet YOU can stand above the flow and choose, yes to this action, no to that impulse. Some things you can control, some you can't. Do you know the difference? Two things are true: what can't be cured must be endured (even accepted), but we also have much more freedom that we usually allow ourselves to believe. Explore it.
