Based on what happened with the original xbox and PS2, I would say that the price will probably drop after next Christmas. So...about a year from now.

In 6 months it will drop only 5-10% by the 1 year mark, since it will be near Christmas will be "clearanced" for sale at about 15% off and around this time next year expect to see a drop as it starts to compete with the Playstation3, and nintendo w11 prices, because they will be dropping around that time. The biggest drop will be once they make a newer modle, and have it out on store shelves, have you seen the new prices of the old play staion 2's one month before the 3-rd one came out they were 25% higher then just 30 days after the new one hit store shelves

When something better and newer comes out and takes all the attention away from the xbox 360. They just came out with that new Wii (did I say that right?) which is almost like virtual reality so I bet the price of the 360 will drop this year.

It will drop either when they see a drastic unexpected decrease in sales, or the day after either Nintendo or Sony drop their prices.
Sometime shortly before the Christmas shopping season is likely.

2 years from now when the PS3 starts to go down in price. It's the perfect ploy. They are already cheaper then the PS3 and had all that time before the competiton. Now they keep their price set until the PS3 price is about to go down.

when something much cooler and awesome video games come out...if it doesn't sell it probably will drop or just buy it on e-bay or mexico it's probably @ 250 pesos which is about 25 dollars which is kinda rare to them to have american video games!
