At the doctor's office. If you get them online, you might not like them and they might hurt your eyes if they're not the right size. And you probably can't return them online.

You need to go to a doctor's office regardless. You need to make sure that you get properly fitted for lenses, since there are so many variables involved that without a proper measurement you could get lenses that don't fit or don't work.
Once you have the prescription for lenses from the doc, though, you are free to go anywhere with it. Online usually offers lower prices than bricks-and-mortar, though at a tradeoff of more distant support if necessary.

doctors office, at least for the first set of lenses. the doctor tests your eyes, and makes sure they fit properly. if you bought them online, a reputable place would check with the doctor to make sure the perscription is correct. get your eyes checked every year, as well.

if you have never had contacts I would go to the eye dr. so you can try our free samples of the different lens
if you already have lens 1800 CONTACTS
